All this drama and suspense... will he or won't he pull the U.S. out.

The world and U.S will continue to work toward progress and environmental -- and climate -- sustainability either way.

What he does is largely symbolic.

I have urged him and Ivanka on Twitter -- PLEASE @realDonaldTrump @IvankaTrump STAY in Paris CLIMATE AGREEMENT! Partner w the Pope, UN, our allies & all the countries of the world

To be the guy who turns his back -- and tries to get our country to turn its back -- on this is irredeemable.

So Trump is pivoting away from -- or blowing up the bridges to -- our European allies. Refusing to confirm Article 5 of NATO, waffling on committing to the Paris Agreement on working seriously to reverse climate change, literally pushing people, acting like an aloof and hostile jerk...

Just for the record here as well.. shameful. Putting his new and strange interests ahead of out country's historic and well-respected role as leader and partner in the modern league of nations... catastrophic.

Hopefully people in other countries realize we all don't feel this way.

Actually most of us are shamed, angry, and insulted by Trumps immature, bizarre and destructive behavior.

It is hopefully a very short chapter in the history of our country.

Let's face it... he's so bought off by and bought into fossil fuels... he's gonna say he's pulling us out.

Nevermind the actual damage to the world and political damage it will do.

If he was realistic he'd stick with the plan and try to help figure out how to decrease the pollution of fossil fuels to keep us under the caps. But he's JUST ABOUT MONEY, for the rich and the mega-rich, fossil fuel barons.

Clean energy is creating more jobs and creates so much less damage on the world.

Again, HUGE shame on Trump and his brutally corrupt short legacy -- unless somehow he says the U.S. will stay in the Paris Accord, which he should and could still do.

Heartbreaking. We are ruining -- trashing -- the planet. For the next generation, and generations to come if we don't self-destruct.

And our 'rulers,' or 'leaders,' are playing impossible greed and fossil fuel power games. Creating distractions, delays and seriously putting our future in jeopardy.

Self-preservation and sustainable practices for life on earth should be the daily personal and political priorities for all of us, every day, without fail.

Our society and species deserve better. Most people don not want wholesale destruction of our environment, world species, and the systems that keep us alive.

Unthinkable. After what's been happening with election meddling from Russia, and sanctions because of Russia's Ukraine and Crimean raiding and annexation.... Donald Trump invites Russian "diplomats" WITHOUT U.S. PRESS PRESENT (!?) for literally a back slapping and grin and can't you believe we pulled it off moment. So horrible and unacceptable that Trump would think it would go over well. Putin has his sock puppet and (probably wire taps) well installed in the White House now. UNTHINKABLE. Heinous, offensive and reeking of treason.

I've been thinking some about the Winter Solstice, the Mayan end of the 30,000-year-cycle on 12/21/12.

What if in fact the world did end? Even though this probably will not happen, to live consciously it is honest for us to take a bit of an inventory.

Am I happy with how I've lived my life? (Yesterday, I thought mostly yes, with some areas for improvement, as below.) Are there changes I would make?
Would I have tried to forgive those that were hostile or disappointing to me?
Would I spend more time with those I loved the most, telling them that, feeling that more?
Would I be happier, grateful for what I have, what I've experienced, the joy, the beauty in this world?

Maybe the answer is yes to all of the above.
So this time can serve as a point of rebirth for all of us. If we think about it.

Because somewhere along the line I realized I think maybe mankind deserves it. !
The way we are killing each other, killing the planet.
How selfish we are, and snotty to those around us. Petty, competitive. Why is this? Do we have to behave this way? (I say no, it greatly detracts and misdirects energy from the full-time celebration in which we could engage, the great multi-cultural, multi-rhythmic dance we can sustain here.)

Maybe God or the Great Universe is fed up, and will pull the rug out from under us.
Don't think I can say we could blame Him/Her/It.

But it probably won't happen. (Probably not! This time.)

Still we are finite on this ride.

It is a time to think, am I happy with how I've lived my life?
Hopefully most of us can say yes.

For the part of us that have a little worry, a little sadness....
This is the time to be present.
This is the time to be the person you want to be, that can die at peace, that can hope to every day be able to look yourself and the Universe in the eye and say, how beautiful, smiling, and thank you. Let's do that.
