Dalai Lama prays for Senate to help ‘dispel misery of the world’ | OnPolitics
Let's hope so. Or at least help dispel their contributing to the misery of the world. Read: No Keystone XL, no Trans-Pacific Partnership, no more letting Monsanto run amuck, increasing taxes on Wall Street and decreasing our ATM withdrawl fees; Yes to raising the minimum wage, completing immigration reform, etc. etc.
Gotta love the Dalai Lama.
"Our mind is central and precedes our deeds. Speak or act with your
pure mind and happiness will follow you like a shadow that never
leaves,” the Dalai Lama said, as he translated his words into English.
“May there be joy in the world with bountiful harvest and spiritual
wealth..."
The prayer ends with a call to “dispel the misery of the world.”
