Keystone pipeline protesters surround White House

Keystone pipeline protesters surround White House

Wish I was there. Not right to burn that much cross-country airplane fuel to protest.
Godspeed to them, and the push for a rational, forward-thinking national energy policy.

  1. i am embarrassed that this is a Canadian Corp. trying to ram this ecologically horrendous pipeline down the throats of the citizens of both Canada and the U.S.

(I believe there was a similar situation happening in Alaska in the 1970s. I think the pipeline was built. Business as usual.)

I wish the concerned citizens wouldn't waste their time protesting in front of the White House. They should be filling the courts with lawsuits protesting "emminent domain" laws and also filing 10th Amendment lawsuits with the Federal Government. The fabulous U.S. Constitution has safeguards against this kind of Corporate/Government cronyism.

As a last resort, if it indeed does get built... don't buy oil.

    all the best,
